Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master

Location: Huntingdon, UK

Salary: Up to £75,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master to join a growing team delivering high-priority projects within the defence sector.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure project success, facilitating Agile practices, and driving high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple in-flight projects, tracking progress, reporting, and managing risks, issues, and budgets.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Lead delivery with a servant-leadership approach, fostering a productive team environment.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, resolving escalations and ensuring alignment on project priorities.
• Protect the team from distractions, clear obstacles, and maintain focus on achieving deliverables.
• Support team dynamics and collaboration with the product owner and external stakeholders.

This role requires working on-site five days a week due to the nature of the projects.

Essential Requirements as a Project Manager / Scrum Master:

• Proven experience managing software-based projects in an Agile delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and ability to lead Agile ceremonies effectively.
• Previous experience working on Defence or Ministry of Defence (MoD) projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build and maintain high-performing teams.

Eligibility

Candidates must be British citizens and have lived in the UK for the last five years to obtain the required security clearance.
