The Role
As a Technology Management Consultant, you will:
- Lead and deliver complex SaaS ERP-based transformation programmes.
- Support pre-sales activities and help refine methodologies for implementation.
- Leverage cloud expertise (Workday Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.) to deliver end-to-end business solutions.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence key decisions.
- Manage teams of 10+ consultants, including clients and third parties.
- Apply Workday's delivery lifecycle methodology to create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end Workday Finance-enabled business processes across multiple functional areas, including Procure to Pay, Invoice to Cash, and Record to Report.
- Plan, estimate, and manage the full implementation lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-go-live support.
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to enhance user experience using persona-based design and user journeys.
- Provide thought leadership on cloud implementations and their unique challenges.
- Drive team development, ensuring knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with Workday Finance ERP implementation across multiple sectors (e.g., Retail, Banking, Insurance, Government).
- Expertise in end-to-end Workday Finance processes and architecture.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive decisions at a senior level.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills
- Broader knowledge of Workday products, including HR and Payroll.
- Familiarity with user experience-based design methods, such as personas and journey mapping.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Projects).
- Experience in managing ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and delivering creative solutions.
