Our client is an industry leader and innovator in the management and modernisation of everyday technology systems in Cloud Engineering. They have a key objective of improving services to better both their customer and consumers experiences, allowing them to focus on their own key objectives.

Our Client is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to work closely with their customers along with being able to deliver cutting edge and industry new solutions. As a Cloud Platform Engineer with our client you will be on the frontier on industry development using the latest technologies to provide great solutions for the consumer. 

As a Cloud Platform Engineer too will be expected too;

  • Be able to work well with an array of engineers customers and other specialties to provide the best possible solutions
  • Help  to implement customised solutions directly referring to customer needs
  • Apply a wide range of your technical knowledge into the design and integration processes
  • Maintain customer relations to a high level to maintain customer expectations and the businesses stellar reputation
  • Be able to lead and contribute on a wide array of projects to ensure a positive outcome 
  • Be able to put your knowledge into practice and stay ahead of new technologies and trends within your industry

What a Cloud Platform Engineer should bring;

  • A strong and in-depth background and understanding of cloud hyperscalers like Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
  • A skilled use of tools like Terraform, Github and Ansible for use in automation
  • A skilled understanding of scripting languages, tools for building, maintaining  CI/CD pipelines and Agile methods such as Scrum, SAFe and Kanban
  • Previous experience in the automation of IaaS ad PaaS resources along with a knowledgeable understanding in auto-provisioning and cloud-native operations tooling
  •  An experience in the adopting and implementation of new and cutting edge solutions for customers
  • Should be familiar with areas like DevSpecOps, SRE and Agile delivery practices
  • A strong understanding of cloud security such as Kubernetes
  • A want to be at the cutting edge of their industry and to continuously develop their own skills
  • Strong communication skills to both the technology and non-technical audiences
