A leading M&A advisory team is looking to hire a Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) Manager to join their fast-growing, entrepreneurial advisory unit. You will be joining a senior-led, high-impact team that works closely with top-tier Private Equity clients across Europe, delivering strategic insights and commercial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step into a broader leadership role within a smaller, fast-scaling environment — with significant autonomy, client exposure, and a rapid career trajectory.


As a CDD Manager, you will:

  • Lead and deliver Commercial Due Diligence engagements for a wide range of clients, from private equity to corporates.

  • Work directly with deal teams to assess market size, growth drivers, competitor dynamics, and strategic positioning of target businesses.

  • Manage and mentor a small team through project lifecycles, typically comprising Associates and Analysts.

  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders including investment principals and C-level clients.

  • Contribute to internal growth through proposal development, go-to-market efforts, and supporting broader firm strategy.


A successful CDD Manager will have:

  • 6–8 years of experience in strategy consulting or M&A advisory, ideally within a top-tier firm

  • Proven experience running end-to-end CDD or strategy projects with small teams.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to translate data and research into actionable investment insights.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced deal environments, handling tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Experience engaging with senior clients and stakeholders with credibility and confidence.

  • Sector exposure in areas such as Technology, Healthcare, Industrials, or Business Services is advantageous.

  • An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.

  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
