An award-winning technology consultancy with deep roots in digital transformation, cyber security, and cloud infrastructure is seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to support enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives for high-impact clients across the UK.
You’ll collaborate closely with customers to design robust AWS architectures, define migration patterns, and implement reusable infrastructure-as-code solutions that accelerate adoption and ensure scalable, secure environments.
As an AWS Solution Architect, you will:

Serve as the technical lead on cloud migration and AWS enablement projects.

Work with engineering and DevOps teams to define reusable AWS patterns and reference architectures.

Design secure, scalable AWS solutions aligned with customer needs and long-term cloud strategy.

Conduct architectural reviews and ensure the implementation of best practices.

Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and support DevOps tooling integration.

Act as a technical escalation point for engineering teams during delivery and troubleshooting phases.

Maintain documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture standards.
A successful AWS Solution Architect will have:

Proven experience in cloud platform architecture, particularly within AWS multi-account estates.

Hands-on knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.

Strong background in AWS native services, including security, networking, and monitoring tools.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks.

Comfort working in Agile environments and delivering within high-assurance or regulated sectors.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:

AWS Certifications (Associate, Professional, or Specialty)

Experience with scaled agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Scrum@Scale)

Experience supporting national security or regulated environments

Stakeholder management and team leadership skills
