You’ll play a crucial role in defining business needs, leading solution discovery, and driving delivery within one of the most exciting areas of a global financial powerhouse.

 

This role offers an opportunity to work across innovative payment solutions used by over 30% of the UK high street. You’ll shape the future of payments, influence key decisions, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

 

As an AVP Business Analyst, you will:

  • Lead the analysis on small projects or own a workstream on large-scale programmes.
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable technology solutions.
  • Think beyond requirements – suggest recommendations and creative solutions.
  • Support delivery planning by estimating, aligning timelines, and delivering to roadmap.
  • Work within structured governance to align with wider organisational strategy.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:

  • Act as a trusted bridge between business, technology, and change stakeholders.
  • Communicate requirements, progress, and solutions clearly to all levels of the business.
  • Support negotiation and buy-in through strong influencing skills.

 

Decision Making & Problem Solving:

  • Assess challenges from multiple viewpoints and recommend clear courses of action.
  • Bring sound judgment and a solution-first mindset to every step of the change process.
  • Provide insight based on structured analysis and data across internal systems.

 

You’ll Bring:

  • 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst within large organisations.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and present insights effectively.
  • Experience utilising JIRA.
  • Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, data transfer, and cloud-based applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.

 

Bonus Points For:

  • Understanding of SQL and Financial Services regulations.
  • Experience with Payment Technology or the Payments industry.
