A global leader in mission-critical technology infrastructure is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and deliver next-generation cloud and hybrid environments. This organisation helps Fortune 500 businesses modernise their IT foundations, enabling scalability, agility, and long-term resilience.
About the Role
As a Cloud Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in the architecture and implementation of complex cloud solutions. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders, platform teams, and vendors to deliver secure, high-performing infrastructure that drives business transformation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Defining cloud strategy and designing scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions
- Delivering hybrid and cloud-native architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Leading platform engineering squads using DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and automation tooling
- Enabling edge and private cloud capabilities (e.g., Azure Stack, AWS Outposts)
- Implementing observability and governance tooling to support modern operations
- Supporting Agile and product-based delivery using SRE, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
- Advising clients on architecture optimisation, security, cost control, and compliance
This Role Is for You If:
- You bring 6+ years of experience leading complex infrastructure and cloud architecture initiatives
- You’ve delivered solutions across IaaS, PaaS, containerised, and serverless environments
- You are experienced with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- You have a deep understanding of DevSecOps practices and modern operating models
- You’re confident influencing senior stakeholders and leading technical delivery teams
Bonus Points For:
- Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- TOGAF or Master Certified Architect credentials
- Experience with APIs, platform integration, FinOps, or infrastructure cost optimisation
- Deep storage, networking, or resilience design experience
