Anson McCade is proud to be working with a global financial institution known for delivering cutting-edge banking and payment solutions across the UK and beyond. We’re currently supporting their Payments Change team in the search for an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-impact transformation programme in the payments acquiring space.

This is a chance to work across high-profile projects supporting technology-driven change within a business that handles payment transactions for over 30% of the UK high street. You’ll work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and delivery leads to shape the next generation of payment solutions.


As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Lead the gathering and documentation of requirements for small to medium projects or workstreams.

  • Facilitate workshops and drive discussions between technical and non-technical teams.

  • Support end-to-end project delivery through Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

  • Define and manage user stories in Jira, ensuring traceability and clear alignment with business goals.

  • Present insights, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and delivery teams.

  • Ensure all activity aligns with regulatory requirements and internal governance processes.


What we’re looking for:

  • Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation experience.

  • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum or Kanban) and Waterfall delivery models.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear, structured approach to problem-solving.

  • Understanding of data transfer, API integration, and cloud-based applications.


Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools.

  • Experience in financial services, banking, or payment technologies.

  • An interest in financial regulation and digital transformation.
