About the Role

Our client is a digital service design consultancy that partners with organisations to deliver digital products and services that work for everyone. They specialise in supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes across both public and private sectors, with a strong focus on user-centred design and lasting impact.

As a Senior Consultant specialising in Product, you will be a leader in agile product management, an advocate for user-first approaches, and a confident coach for teams and stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to influence clients, shape digital strategies, and deliver high-profile products with measurable impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide colleagues by helping them understand client needs and context.

  • Protect teams from unnecessary distractions, enabling them to focus on delivery.

  • Engage with stakeholders to shape product vision, translate into roadmaps and backlogs, and manage delivery across multiple teams.

  • Communicate effectively with diverse groups, including subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.

  • Establish measurable objectives and key results (OKRs), ensuring teams understand goals and can track success.

  • Deliver products on behalf of significant, high-profile organisations in the UK.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to lead groups of specialists and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Expertise in identifying and measuring value, and building consensus across differing perspectives.

  • Confidence in decision-making when consensus cannot be reached.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, bridging the gap between stakeholders and delivery teams.

  • Pragmatic and creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Passion for ensuring users remain at the heart of products.

  • Knowledge and experience across delivery approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps.

  • Ability to balance user needs with political, economic, social, and technological factors.

  • Confident communicator, able to represent both the consultancy and the client effectively.

  • Skilled in leading workshops and group exercises, both remotely and in-person.

  • Commitment to building capability in others, empowering colleagues and clients.
