Contracts & Vendor Management Specialist

  • A proven track record in contract delivery and vendor management within complex programmes.

  • Ability to manage supplier relationships collaboratively and successfully.

  • Flexible, hands-on approach — able to step in and support the wider programme team where gaps appear.

  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing risk, budgets, and change control.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, with confidence engaging across programme teams and suppliers.

 

Core Responsibilities;

Vendor Governance

Establish appropriate governance structures with data-driven reporting on vendor milestones, payments, and risks.

Implement escalation processes, feedback loops, and structured performance reviews.

Outcome: Transparent collaboration, consistent delivery, and long-term value realisation.

Vendor Management

Implement structured vendor management to ensure alignment with business outcomes, contractual obligations, and transformation objectives.

Build proactive relationships, drive joint accountability, and maintain performance transparency.

Outcome: Stronger multi-supplier collaboration, consistent delivery, reduced service and commercial risk.

Change Control

Deliver a clear, collaborative change control process for scope, requirements, and timeline adjustments.

Ensure all changes are logged, reviewed, approved, and tracked.

Outcome: Greater control, traceability, and prioritisation of change.

Commercial & Contract Management

Support effective contract and commercial management to mitigate overspend, encourage collaboration, and track benefits realisation.

Maintain contract schedules, milestone and payment trackers, KPI trackers, and budget monitoring.

Outcome: Predictable budget management and commercial agility.

SLA, KPIs & Benefits Tracking

Establish structured performance management frameworks to measure and continuously improve service delivery.

Create dashboards and tracking mechanisms for SLA, KPI, and benefits realisation.

Outcome: Consistent vendor performance and data-driven improvement.
