Data Engineering Team Lead

Our client is a leading name in cyber defence, aiding Governments, Nations and Societies to defend themselves from an ever-evolving world of cybercrime. They are currently looking for a Data Engineering Team Lead to their Defence business unit, modernising the UK's defence services as part of the Defence Digital programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a client side team that defines and resolves complex data collection and data integration issues.
  • Making data and information available to decision makers, internal and external interfaces and real time decision procedures with operation systems and delivery channels.
  • Managing teams to an agreed schedule and within budget, generating metrics and reporting the status of the engineering on your project

Requirements

  • Expertise in the provisioning and knowledge of ETL architectures and setting strategies for effective use of ETL and Data Integration Tools.
  • Experience delivering complex solutions (numbers of data sources or technical components), and utilising proven design patterns.
  • Experience in reviewing data-related contracts for external suppliers

Benefits

* Salary up to £90,000 based on experience

* Car allowance of up to £7,000 (can be taken as cash)

* Performance based bonus of up to 15%

* Hybrid Working (1-2 days a week in office)
