A global industry-leading consultancy are looking for a skilled Data Privacy Senior Manager to join our team. As a Data Privacy Senior Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with data protection regulations and laws, implementing and maintaining data privacy policies, and developing and delivering data privacy training programs to employees. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify potential privacy risks and provide guidance on how to mitigate them. Additionally, you will manage the organization's data subject access requests and data breaches, ensuring timely responses and reporting as necessary.

Responsibilities of a Data Privacy Senior Manager;

  • Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to the organization to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential privacy risks and provide guidance on how to mitigate them
  • Develop and deliver data privacy training programs to employees
  • Manage data subject access requests and data breaches, ensuring timely responses and reporting as necessary
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments for new projects and initiatives
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, and keep the organization informed of any changes or updates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data privacy and protection, preferably in a managerial or leadership role
  • Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, CIPP/E and HIPAA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Certification in data privacy or a related field is a plus
