Europe's most successful Integrated Defence Company is seeking a talented individual to help design, build, and deploy Embedded Real-Time Systems. These innovative software solutions will be integrated into some of the world's most advanced Defence Products, including OS's, Firmware, and hardware.

As part of a small, multi-disciplinary team of software, systems, and electronics engineers, you'll work in a highly supportive atmosphere of interdependence. Together, you'll specialize in hard real-time software development, using SysML/UML and C, C++, or Ada programming, and model-based development using UML tools such as IBM's Rhapsody or Matlab/Simulink. Your contributions will be critical to the success of the team.

Essential Experience:

  • Development of Embedded Software with C and/or C++.
  • Real Time Operating Systems (Highly Desirable)
  • Model-Based Development - UML tools; IBM's Rhapsody or Matlab/Simulink.
  • Deploying software on real-time Operating Systems and ARM-based processing platforms.
  • Firmware and Electronics Design.
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices and standards; DefStan 00-55 & DO178B/C
  • Restricted coding standards knowledge: MISRA would be advantageous.

Benefits Package:

  • Base Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
  • Annual Bonus: Circa £2,500
  • Pension can rise to 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
